Although WordPress is the most popular publishing platform around, it is not the be all end all. Therefor, David and I have decided to show some love to an up and coming project known as Habari that many feel could be the successor to WordPress. On this weeks episode of Perfcast, Owen Winkler who is one of the lead developers of the project is scheduled to join us. There might even be a few other developers as well either hanging out in the chatroom or calling in to participate.
The show will focus on the similarities and differences between Habari and WordPress, the differences between the two licensing schemes, what it will take to be the successor to WordPress, plugin/theme development, and much more.
