 Blogs Wanted for Syndication

Submitted by Flippy on January 18, 2007 - 11:53pm in

Blogs wanted for syndication opportunity. Have your blog's RSS feed redistributed to research services like EBSCO and LexisNexis (these companies are just examples), in exchange for rev share payments. The agreement is completely non-exclusive and will not prevent you from accepting other distribution or advertising offers.

Blogs are needed in all categories, especially politics, technology, law, finance, and current events. The blog must be at least three months old, professionally written, and the blogger must post at least three times per week. Many well-known blogs are already signed, and references are available. This is an opportunity for some extra money as well as increased visibility and credibility.

If interested, please email your name and your blog's url to blogsyndication@gmail.com, and you'll be contacted.

 Comment Contest, $1000 in prizes

Submitted by chrispian on January 8, 2007 - 4:39pm in

Did the holidays leave you a little light in the wallet? Are you strapped for cash after months of spending? Well - 451 Press is here to help. We are hosting a contest that could have you walking away with $500 in your pocket on February 1st.

451 Press Comment Contest
451 Press has launched several new sites recently and decided the best way to get people to check out the new writers is to host a comment contest. This will benefit all of the writers in our network, as well as the people who participate. We are calling out to anyone and everyone to stop by one of the sites on our network and leave a quality comment. Not a spam comment that simple gets you entered in the contest, but a comment that contributes to the conversation or adds commentary to the article. Every comment made on one of our sites between now and January 31st will be entered in a random drawing for prizes. Every comment you leave will be considered an entry, so there is no limit as long as you leave quality along with quantity.

We offer a wide variety of categories for you to view. We hope that there are several sites here that interest you. We also hope to launch 40 more before the end of the month, so check back regularly to find writers.

Note: Every site in our network is eligible for this contest except 451press.com.

Prizes:
We will award six prizes to the six randomly chosen comments from this month. There will be one (1) $500 cash prize and five (5) $100 cash prizes. We will contact the winning commenters using the email address they enter with the comment. Comments made through January 31st will be entered in the contest and the winners will be announced on February 1st.

451 Press writers are not eligible to win this contest.

Submitted by RJ on January 3, 2007 - 3:06pm in

I looking to change the set up of my blog on MT3.2 to try and clear out more 'real estate' for potential monetizing options. It is not a major shake-up and probably, would suit someone looking for or able to handle a small part-time job.

Any takers?

Submitted by George Fleming on December 19, 2006 - 5:58am in

Blog Raters and Sector Editors

We are about to expand our blog aggregation offering to a series of new sectors and sites and are looking for experienced and knowledgeable bloggers to help source and rate the blogs to be included on each new sector aggregation site.

Since our technology platform aggregates and organizes blog content into multiple macro and tag categories (which you can see an example of by visiting our financial blog aggregation site
inveslogic.com)the successful candidates will also act as sector editors and will assist in the development of the macro and tag categories for each new site.

Our model is to only aggregate the best blogs in each sector and your job will be to source and rate as many blogs as you can find that meet our quality criteria. We are currently looking for individuals with sector knowledge for six new sector sites focused on Green/Green Biz/Environmental Blogs, Tech Blogs, Medicine and Medical Blogs, Celebrity Gossip Blogs and blogs about or discussing New York City.

Please contact us at jobs@inveslogic.com for more information.

InvesLogic is something new. It’s the first company to organize expert financial and business blogs worth reading into a new form of market intelligence different from anything being provided by the mainstream investment media. We’re focused on providing the most valuable and timely market and business insight available in blogs today. Not just information about a specific stock or company but expert opinion and commentary about the insiders, sectors, trends, industries, and commodities a company is involved in.

“If you want to know what’s going on in the hot areas of the economy and stock markets, bloggers are talking about it.”

 Mortgage Marketing Blogger

I am looking for a blogger (or two bloggers if necessary to create the quality and amount of content we are looking for) to create a total of 8-12 entries a month on the subject of mortgage marketing for a corporate client in the field. We'd like a consistent schedule-- posts on Monday and Wednesday for example. We'd love to find someone with a strong understanding of real estate culture and how it relates to our business. We will be paying per post (price per post is open to negotiation)

What is your job as our blogger? To create buzz, to create links, and most importantly to create great content that people in the field and related fields will want to reference. We need to build a readership for this blog-- so we need a blogger who can tackle this project with a strong and unique voice.

Web 2.0 and software bloggers wanted

Submitted by huwleslie on December 10, 2006 - 10:41pm in

Oratos Media is looking for bloggers for Gizbuzz, a blog covering mainly Web 2.0 and software. Gizbuzz was started on Blogger as a fun project, and moved over to its own domain in May. Since then we have gone from strength to strength. We have been on the front page of Digg, linked to from many A-list blogs including Google Blogoscoped, Read/WriteWeb, Ajaxian and InsideMicrosoft. We are also now crawled by TechMeme. We also have an accompanying podcast which has achieved considerable success in only four episodes. Most recently, we have interviewed two people from the Google Docs and Spreadsheets team.

In the past month Gizbuzz was a founding blog in the new Oratos blog network, and we have seen traffic rise significantly. In order to sustain this growth we have decided to advertise for bloggers to help us out. Applicants will need to be experts in the Web 2.0 world particularly, and interested in some aspect of software.

For details on how to apply, and what you get, see after the jump!
