It is the primary hotspot for viewers so I put my side bar there with whatever is my primary point I want to get across with the site. Usually advertising.
For blogs, I tend to go with a right side bar. For Web sites, I tend to use a left side bar (for persistent navigation).
I have a wider sidebar on the right that eventually splits into two sidebars and then again become one towards the end
i have 2 sidebar all on the left i thing that place is SEO friendly
I tried most of the variants, and I can say that the double right sidebar works best for me. It makes it easyer for me to arrange links to categories and posts, and leaves a nice little advertising space above it, where I can fit 2 or 3 125×125 banners.
I have 1 splitting into 2 on the right.
PS you could include “post has poll” in RSS feed, otherwise these are bit confusing showing up as empty posts
Neither? I have a menu in the header, but no sidebar.
I operate like 4-5 different ‘blogs’ so I had to pick both(since some are on the left and some are on the right).
