This is one reason why I love the blogosphere. Earlier today, I stumbled across a cool blog which features strange maps. What are these strange maps though? Ever notice a piece of toast which looked like a state? What about a cloud that resembled a country? Those are the types of maps featured on the blog StrangeMaps which is hosted on WordPress.com The blog has been around since September of 2006. I’d provide more information regarding the origins of the idea but the site lacks an about page.

Although the site is hosted on WordPress.com which means it would be hard to monetize, this is proof positive that just about anything and everything can be covered within the realm of blogging.
