I had the pleasure of interacting with my favorite tech journalist who has inspired me to get into the career of writing in the first place—Leo Laporte. Leo currently dedicates a majority of his time running his TWiT Live network, and he streams live video over 25 hours week.
Leo is well known for being one of the pioneers in popularizing podcasting, and he also spent years making technology a fun and unique learning experience.
For well over 7 years I have watched Leo Laporte from TechTV’s The Screen Savers and Call for Help, and I am glad that he managed to make a comeback after the downfall of TechTV. It appears that his netcast and live streaming networks are very healthy and constantly growing.
I had the opportunity to talk to Leo Laporte for around 10 – 15 minutes yesterday while he was—and still is—doing his live coverage of the iPhone release. I also almost won an iPhone!
Good luck to you Leo on your 24 Hours of iPhone coverage. Unfortunately, even I will not be able to remain up for the full 24 hours, but I hope you are able to last.
Thanks for taking the time to talk to me, and thanks for the mention of Performancing and OnlyJames. Never has it been so much of a pleasure to have my site brought down within a few seconds.
To all of you who have visited and subscribed to Performancing from the TWiT Army, I welcome you.

Why thank you. I do consider myself very welcomed here. 🙂 From what I’ve read so far on Google Reader, this looks like an interesting site so I’m looking forward to some interesting posts.
Keep up the good work,
