Is it definitely most important to express your very deep feelings?
Keep your articles tidy
Burlesque overstatements and using loads of exaggerated attributes are not a good way to write a good blog post. Sometimes you have to step back and take care to not use too many adverbs.
The most important tip is of course to avoid superlatives...
Reading my last article about developing a successful blog format again made me aware that I had used way too many exaggerated attributes. Because of that some parts sound like a press release.
Take care of adverbs
Beware of the following words.
Adverbs of degree tell us about the intensity or degree of an action, an adjective or another adverb.
Common adverbs of degree: Almost, nearly, quite, just, too, enough, hardly, scarcely, completely, very, extremely.
(...)
Other adverbs like very - These common adverbs are used like very and not very, and are listed in order of strength, from positive to negative:
extremely, especially, particularly, pretty, rather, quite, fairly, rather, not especially, not particularly.

I am also a big fan of 'definitely' and then we also have the big use 'of 'really'. Using these words only pretends to underline that we are talking facts but instead are an invitation to look for the evidence that the facts are wrong.
Before publishing your article scan the text for adverbs and make sure that they make sense! If in doubt avoid or delete adverbs!
Take care of superlatives
Why superlatives should be avoided is pretty self explaining.
- This is the best article on the Internet
- The performancing.com tracker is the most important tool on the Internet
- The Internet is the best thing after sliced bread
- I am the strongest guy in Texas
Only use superlatives if you can prove the fact!
