While I'm more than happy to answer your questions and problems, it does get a bit time-consuming to answer the same questions over and over. So before you post, make sure it wasn't already asked or documented.

I suggest you do the following two things before posting;

1) Look in the Performancing for Firefox Support Handbook, there is a lot of useful documentation and a FAQ that might answer your question.

2) Use the 'Search' feature to see if your question/problem has already been answered.

Thank you very much, as helping me also helps you :)

Where is the Performancing icon hiding?

The icon no longer appears in the lower right corner of my Firefox 2 browser window running on Windows XP.

After successful download and posting several blog entries using Performancing [really great tool for blogging], I can now longer use it because as I can't locate Performancing on my browser. Where is it?

I also lost ReminderFox add-on to Firefox application icon as well so I think one problem is causing me to lose both applications.

Something is preventing/blocking the Performancing software to show itself on the brower window. Where can it be?

Thanks for putting this at the top

I am going to bookmark this and read it so that I don't ask redundant questions. I kept going back in the support archives trying to find something like this, but only got a few pages back each time before the pages quit loading.

posting flickr photos to my blog

"Flickr Terms of Service specify that if you post a Flickr photo on an external website, the photo must link back to its photo page." Flickr provides a chunk of HTML for each size of each photo, and it creates an image that links back to the original photo. However, that chunk of code doesn't seem to work in Performancing. Is there a trick to it? Do I need to do something in particular to the code? I found something in the faq about altering code from You Tube for embedding video, but nothing similar for Flickr.

If I just use the 'add an image' function in performancing I get a non-linked photo, which just won't work.

I just blog for my family, but I like putting photos in of the child and the dog and so on. I'd really love to use performancing for all my blogging, but can't if I can't get this Flickr thing worked out.

Thanks for any help!

Performancing for Firefox Support Handbook,

When I click on "...Handbook" I get ScribeFire window stating "page not found."

Tried to download ScribeFire 1.4.0.1 with no success. I still have ver. 1.3.5

I'm new to all this and need some kind of handbook.

Thank you for any assistance.

Is it 1.4 or 1.3.5?

I downloaded 1.4 on 28 March. But when I opened it, in the 'about' page, it says it is 1.3.5, whereas in my browser add-on list, it says it is 1.4.
I am simply confused. Which is it really?

The same is happening with

The same is happening with me. I can't find the Performancing for Firefox Support Handbook. I too downloaded the 1.4 version.. but when I open the page is says version 1.3.5. Trying to open the Performancing for Firefox Support Handbook still takes me to the page not found page. Any suggestions??
