I cant use my msn space

I was told that the first thing that I needed to do after downloading Performancing, was to click on the "add" button. I have looked everywhere and I can not find an "add" button on Performancing to get me started. I've pressed the arrows and everything. I've been trying to do this for a whole day. Help . . . please????

I am also having problems with MSN My Space. Tried the fix given by Ket000 but that seemed to be for using another service, apart from Performancing (didn't work anyway, because I can't log onto My Spaces). If it (WBlogger) is not for ano program, please let me know. I really would like to get started, but, this is all new to me. Thanks.

@etoille25: On the right sidebar there should be a list of your current blogs and an 'add' button on the bottom as you can see here:
http://performancing.com/firefox/handbook/account-wizard

If not, then it's your first time adding a blog so you should see a 'Account Wizard' button on the right sidebar.

Let me know if that doesn't help.

Thanks, Jed. That is the first time someone has included that step (the fact that the add button only comes up AFTER you have used the account wizard). I searched all day (even changed my glasses - lol). That having been said, how do I resolve the problem of adding My Spaces? I tried to use the wizard and it asks for my MSN Spaces 'username/pw', and upon entering it, I get "login err". I have used 'username'/pw, 'username@msn.com'/pw, and both with secret pw from 'activate email publishing', but I still get 'log in err'. I have also tried the fixed that was posted, and still got 'log-in err'. Am I doing something wrong, or is it some glitch that requires a workaround? Please let me know and I will act accordingly. Thanks again.

No problem.

So your username is not actually your user name.. i.e. it's what appears in the url.

For example, my username is 'jedbro' but msnspaces assigned my url as: http://spaces.msn.com/gringojed/

So my username for performaning is: gringojed
and my password is what I chose in the 'activate email publishing'.

I know that is totally non-intuitive and sucks... but that's MS for you... not sure why they do that.

I followed all you steps, and I m sure I did not fill in a wrong user name or pwd, but my MSN space still tell me "Ligin error".

Performancing -> add -> custome blog -> Moveble Type & https://storage.msn.com/storageservice/MetaWeblog.rpc ->my space name (space/***) & my secret word

and it goes to "Ligin error".

maybe I need your help, thanks.

btw, I like Performancing *_-, and that's why I kept on tring this.

it's okay now, after I choose "MSN space" other than "custom blog".

CharlieBrown, you need to choose "MSN Spaces" then use the username: charliebrown8989
and the password should be the one you set up in Spaces under the 'activate email publishing' settings in your My Spaces configuration.

Hi, I looked carefully about the instructions, and it turns out that I cannot log in either. I used the username of the url, and password in my space email configuration, but still cannot log in.

However, I applied for a new space, and do the same thing, it worked! It seems that some "old" spaces cannot be accessed in this way.

Did anyone find the same situation?

I've used this extension for some days. But when I change the email publishing code, I cant log in even I modified the extension's configuration.

I have same above ploblem too, what happen about windows live space. I can't saw my space from another account id and now I set my msn live space to public for everyone can see my space, Thanks very much.
