Login error with Movable Type

I'm trying to set up Scribefire (previously Performancing) with MT but can't seem to log in. Has anyone else had this problem?

I go through the Performancing Account Wizard:
1. Enter my url "http://www.chrisgoward.com" and click "Check URL"
2. Select "Movable Type" and enter my API url "http://www.chrisgoward.com/mt/mt-xmlrpc.cgi"
3. Next, I'm not sure if I should enter anything in the "API Key" spot. I've tried it both ways, with my MT Web Services Password and without.
4. Next, I enter my regular MT username and pw.
5. But then I get:
Login Error
Please check your username and password for errors and try again.

I'm quite sure it's the proper password, and have even made my Web Services password and regular login password the same just in case I should be using a different one.

Anyone else using Performancing for MT and have run into the same problem?

I just joined performancing and have the same problem. I'm not too encouraged by the fact that this post is dated March 2007 with no response.
