Actually people who request to vote their entry should not put all the voting links in the forums, because it would be to easy for those sites to discover pcom as referrer and blacklist the pcom referrer ;-)

actually Digg and Reddit have publicly stated that they encourage community activism of the sort we're trying to push here. Eventually, we're going to develop a section of the site where it will take "user point" credits to make a submission. That way, Performancing members will get rewarded for more participation.

I can imagine such a policy from Reddit, but I would never go that far to trust Digg('s algorithm/moderation/gaming analysis). But maybe I am biased re-Digg (I don't use Digg)
I like the user points idea. I am a forum nerd.

I've read that the top digg users voted each other's stories and they have a hidden forum to help notify each other of their stories.

I like the idea of community members helping to vote up links for each others sites. Is it worth starting a thread to share IDs on Digg, Reddit, etc?
