A company approached me about putting a large SkyScaper Ad (160 x 600) on my site. I'm excited but not sure how much to ask for on an ad that size. It would probably replace about three ads in that sidebar that make maybe $100/mo total.

For a 125x125 I ask $75 at the moment. I'm debating between $200 or $300 for an ad that large.

I'd recommend $250/month

I'd recommend $250/month with a 10% discount for a 3 month buy and a 15% discount for a 6 month buy.

Of course, if your ad is going to give this company thousands of dollars in sales, then it might be worth raising the price. I just don't know how much traffic you'll be sending their way.

I haven't gotten a firm

I haven't gotten a firm agreement nailed down yet, but we've agreed upon $200/mo. I think with a bigger company in the industry buying advertising on my site may actually open a door for others to follow suit. I'm also hoping to get a quote from this company saying good things about advertising on my site when the promotion ends.
