I am new to blogging and to Performancing. I am frustrated because I do not understand something so simple as tagging. For some reason I just don't understand it. Is there a post or tutorial that spoonfeeds how to do this. I get other stuff but tagging is beyond me. I really appreciate the help.

Frustrated with tagging 2
Ok, loved it, signed up with del.ic.ous. Have basics. My question is how do I incorporate tags into my blog? How do I utilize them? I promise I am not mental, I just am not quite getting it. I have no idea why I am having trouble with this... I am a hands on kind of guy I need an example I guess. When I am blogging is there a code under the html that I put in?

Example 1:
You del.icio.us (d.i.u.) every blog article.
link -> d.i.u./username/red-wine
Click on that user+tag combination and people will get a list of all your bookmarks/articles which have to do with red-wine
Example 2:
You del.icio.us every blog article.
link -> d.i.u./red-wine
Click on that tag and people will get a chronological list of all bookmarks on d.i.u. which have to do with red-wine.
Example 3:
If your blog system/service supports keywords/tagging for articles then you are able to use the keywords for an internal search to find all articles with the same keyword. If your blog system is also able to add the rel="tag" to every keyword link then all the blog search services like Technorati will index that article with these keywords/tags.
