FeedBurner on WordPress

Hello!

I am trying to switch my blog's feed to feedburner's. I am using Wordpress 1.5.2, and I can't find a way to tell Wordpress to redirect all the rss traffic to another place.

I tried using OrderedList's feedburner plugin with no success as I am unable to edit my .htaccess file (sigh..), and trying to manually edit wp-feed.php to "require" the feedburner (just as a temporary hack..?) didn't yield any results either.

Anyone has an idea?

Thanks,
Aviad.

Re: Bloglines ... spamming servers???

Note: I am not talking about FeedBurner feeds but original server originated RSS feeds!

I just got a mail from a webmaster with a quite big site that he is not accepting bloglines traffic anymore ... he said "they are spamming my (his) servers".

To harden the info

I wrote:

Bloglines error mesage:

"Home > My Feeds > Feed Error Help

Bloglines has encountered an error trying to fetch the latest version of this feed. Bloglines handles errors automatically, no action is required by you. The error was:

The server hosting the feed returned a Forbidden message. If this error continues, you should check the feed URL and, if it is wrong, subscribe to the correct URL. "

Webmaster answered 29.1.06:

Bloglines was severely spamming our servers. I told them to fix the problem, they said they would work on it.

In the meantime, bloglines is banned from 'server.tld'.

Are there more webmasters complaining about bloglines being too agressive (my interpretation)?

As always just my 2c ...
