I am rinning a blog about culture and really, sometimes I am very curious aboutthis point. Can culture generate income? Even in blog? What do you think? What do you suggest?

Income from content comes from monetizing the site itself.

Many people enjoy reading about culture, about art, music, theatre, fashion and any other of the many topics that are considered cultural, even folk dancing and ethnic crafts. Wherever there are readers there is an opportunity for income.

Such topics may not get as high a readership as gossip mags, finance, news, gadgets or sport but there is a niche readership for them and probably one with less competition than those more obvious popular topics.

If your content is of a high quality, is original, entertaining and reaches and appeals to your niche market, there is no reason why such a blog would not make an income. Content draws traffic. Income comes down to monetizing a site - and a lot of traffic. Your content does not give you income, your published advertising does. Clicks make money for a blog.

You may need to be clever however about what form of advertising you use. Adsense draws from your content, if there are no high click advertisers for them to serve that relate to this type of content, Adsense won't be a good choice for your blog. If you can creatively link to products that may appeal to your niche audience (even if not directly related), you should still be able to tempt them to click on your ads.

Your content is what draws people. Traffic + Ad Clicks = Income.
