I thought I was having a banner day when I took a look at my stats today! It came to pass that I was the only IP address listed for most of the visits.

Is there a way to block my own visits? Where would I find a blocking cookie if there is one?

Otherwise I could set a "refresh" code to my blog and shoot to the top of the rankings! Of course I would not do that, but who else is doing that to get better rankings? Just a thought.

You need to detect the

You need to detect the logged in user using your blog scripting language, not all blogs are served dynamically so it is not something you can do on all of them. Traffic is best ranked by visitors. The blogs at the top of the rankings get 1000s of *visitors* an hour, you would need to be going some to beat that.
