Most professional bloggers use the excellent combination of Google AdSense for revenue and FeedBurner's feed publishing service for syndication and promotion. However, I have seen that not too many bloggers are aware of Google Adsense sister-program, AdSense for feeds. Essentially AdSense for feeds ties into your AdSense account and allows you to display advertisements of your choosing within your feed given Google's AdSense for Feeds code.
Today, I'll be showing you a simple way to incorporate your AdSense for feeds account into your FeedBurner feed. First off you need to have an AdSense account as well as an AdSense for Feeds account, which is currently in beta. If you don't yet have an AdSense for Feeds account you can apply for one here. Assuming you also have a FeedBurner account, login to the FeedBurner site. Once logged in, click on the feed which you wish to incorporate AdSense into and then click on the Monetize tab. On the left pane, click the Google AdSense link under Services. You should be greeted with a screen like this:

Scout back to your AdSense account and grab your Client ID and feed it to FeedBurner. You can also type in an AdSense Channel in the given field if you wish to separately monitor your AdSense within your feed. FeedBurner provides you with several other options such as how often to display advertisements and how long they should be. Click Activate and after a short while your feed will now have AdSense ads.
One thing to note is that some types of users will drop your feed if they start noticing ads placed within it. Some people feel as though feeds are the only clean source of content. I would rather my users have my feed than not, so it is for those few users I would maintain two feeds. One with AdSense advertisements and one without. Hopefully you learned something in this brief guide. Any and all questions may be directed to me.
