Are you a writer who takes the time to create well researched, high quality articles? Can you write in the conversational style popular in the blogosphere? Do you know a thing or two about woodworking, metals and architecture?

We're an architectural metals firm who tries to create quality, useful content for the woodworking and building construction trades. We're looking for writer(s) that we can establish a long term relationship with to write any / all of the following:

- Articles on our blog
- Ghost written articles for our blog or for guest posts
- Research and compiling data sets for info graphics

The sort of topics you can be expected to write about include:

How to articles (how to clean and maintain stainless steel, how to build a french cleat wall tool chest)
Summary articles (history of woodworking business failures)
Editorial articles (the pros and cons of requiring skin stop technology on table saws)
Meta reviews (the best content on the table saw safety litigation)

You must be a native english speaker with great communication skills, and be willing to do spend the time doing any necessary research. I may also provide content outlines for you to build from.

We're willing to pay for quality as well. $150+ for articles, $250+ for tasks that require a bit more effort (e.g. compiling a dataset for an infographic). Actual compensation dependent on your demonstrable experience and knowledge in the field.

We're expecting articles of ~1000 words with relevant quotes and creative commons images included.
How to apply
If you're interested in writing for us please email five examples of articles you have written on at least 2 very different subjects. If you do not send 5 articles or 5 links to articles, you will not be considered.
