The Content Writer is responsible for conceptualizing, researching, editing and creating high quality content for marketing collateral, websites, external blogs, newsletters, news publications and press releases. The position requires excellent writing skills and the ability to engage audiences through multiple communication mediums. Candidate must possess an outgoing, “can-do” attitude and be able to interact effectively, positively and professionally with all parties involved in business activities including partners, publishers, sales team members and other marketing team members.

Roles & Responsibilities:
· Edit content created by SoftwareONE subject matter experts who are non-native English speakers to prepare it for publication
· Assist Global Marketing Team in maintaining the company blog and writing and/or editing weekly articles, keeping variety and engagement to increase viewership and traffic to our website
· Work with various Marketing stakeholders to deliver customer newsletter content, including writing and/or editing publisher-related and SoftwareONE-related articles
· Assist in the writing and editing of marketing collateral, including brochures, flyers and presentations
· Research and source content for thought leadership articles and monthly bylines in reputed industry outlets
· Continually review content for SEO trends and improvement opportunities
· Provide ongoing support for updating, editing and creating content for the global website and other eMarketing activities
· Assist in the search for references and success stories and writing of customer case studies
· Understands and communicates SoftwareONE messaging in all internal and external communications, protects both the SoftwareONE and VARassist brands, and works to ensure that our messaging is compelling and consistent in all collateral, web messaging and campaign initiatives.
· In all facets of role, follow and provide all budgetary and reporting requirements.
· Employs superior organizational skills to prioritize projects, balance workload, and deliver results.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
· Fluent in English; additional languages preferred
· University degree or currently pursuing University required
· Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
· Ability to engage audience with excellent communication skills while precisely communicating a message
· Prefer 1-3 years of total content writing experience
· Basic knowledge of SEO
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
· Excellent problem solving abilities and detail-oriented
· Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
