    Default Removing the header image in only one page (and using up that space)

    Hi. I'm using Cutline-1-1.4- 2ColumnRight and WP 2.9.2.
    I have a page that I want to use for simple press forums. I know nothing of HTML or CSS but following instructions I managed to eliminate the sidebar already. Using up the new space left by the sidebar was another matter but I managed as well following some instructions for the style.css file.

    Now I would like to eliminate the header image on my forum page as well. And just as important, I would like to use up that space for the forums.

    (By the way what forum software do you have installed for these cutline support forums?)I would love to have my exactly like this one but I'm trying out simple press)

    Open header.php and change this:

    PHP Code:
        <div id="header_img">
            <?php if (is_home()) { ?>
            <img src="<?php bloginfo('template_url'); ?>/images/header_1.jpg" width="770" height="140px" alt="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?> header image 1" title="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?> header image 1" />
            <?php } elseif (is_single()) { ?>
            <img src="<?php bloginfo('template_url'); ?>/images/header_2.jpg" width="770" height="140px" alt="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?> header image 2" title="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?> header image 2" />
            <?php } elseif (is_page()) { ?>
            <img src="<?php bloginfo('template_url'); ?>/images/header_3.jpg" width="770" height="140px" alt="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?> header image 3" title="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?> header image 3" />
            <?php } elseif (is_archive()) { ?>
            <img src="<?php bloginfo('template_url'); ?>/images/header_4.jpg" width="770" height="140px" alt="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?> header image 4" title="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?> header image 4" />
            <?php } else { ?>
            <img src="<?php bloginfo('template_url'); ?>/images/header_5.jpg" width="770" height="140px" alt="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?> header image 5" title="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?> header image 5" />
            <?php ?>
    to this:

    PHP Code:
        <div id="header_img">
            <?php if (is_home()) { ?>
            <img src="<?php bloginfo('template_url'); ?>/images/header_1.jpg" width="770" height="140px" alt="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?> header image 1" title="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?> header image 1" />
            <?php } elseif (is_single()) { ?>
            <img src="<?php bloginfo('template_url'); ?>/images/header_2.jpg" width="770" height="140px" alt="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?> header image 2" title="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?> header image 2" />
            <?php } elseif (is_page()) { ?>
                <?php if ( !is_page('Forum') ) { ?>
                <img src="<?php bloginfo('template_url'); ?>/images/header_3.jpg" width="770" height="140px" alt="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?> header image 3" title="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?> header image 3" />
                <?php ?>
            <?php } elseif (is_archive()) { ?>
            <img src="<?php bloginfo('template_url'); ?>/images/header_4.jpg" width="770" height="140px" alt="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?> header image 4" title="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?> header image 4" />
            <?php } else { ?>
            <img src="<?php bloginfo('template_url'); ?>/images/header_5.jpg" width="770" height="140px" alt="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?> header image 5" title="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?> header image 5" />
            <?php ?>
    Basically change this area:

    PHP Code:
    <?php } elseif (is_page()) { ?>
        <?php if ( !is_page('Forum') ) { ?>
            <img src="<?php bloginfo('template_url'); ?>/images/header_3.jpg" width="770" height="140px" alt="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?> header image 3" title="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?> header image 3" />
            <?php ?>
    And use the name of the page where your Forum will go.

    This forum is using vBulletin and a customized theme to look like Cutline.

    Wow thanks! The first time I tried it, it messed up everything, then I realized my page template was named "forum" rather than "Forum" like on the example you sent me. I worked like a charm. Much appreciated!!!

    I would love to get vBulletin but it's very expensive and I wouldn't know how to implement it.
