Thread: Archives-404 error message

    Unhappy Archives-404 error message

    I just set up Cutline 2.2 and imported the contents from another wordpress blog. I cannot figure out how to create the archive and equally how to use the archive button that cutline provides...not so smart am Ihttp://performancing.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif

    1. Create a new page called Archives.

    2. In one of the right side panels find the one entitled Template and in the dropdown menu select the "Archives" template.

    3. The theme assumes you have pretty permalinks turned on so even if you have an Archives page already it might still turn up as a 404 error. Change your permalinks settings in the admin panel OR change the settings in your header.php file as instructed here: http://cutline.tubetorial.com/forums...55&postcount=6

    I have Archives 404 error, I have friendly perma-link structure (/%postname%/) so what should I do next? My other header links work just fine. www.bikingindallas.com

    Did you create a Page called "Archives" and set its template to "Archives"?
