Hi. My name is Phil, and I write as OldChinaHand for http://www.warrington-online.com.

I feel like an imposter here as I'm not a professional blogger and therefore don't have anything to contribute to your forums.

I write,hopefully, humorous articles on various topics, and since I am a composer and songwriter, the ultimate aim of the blog is to become profficient enough to promote my work-in-progress, which is a musical comedy entitled The Last Pirate In Peng Chau, based extremely loosely around an incident during my time as a Detective Inspector in the Royal Hong Kong Police.

I hope I can learn something from the volumes of experience I see on this site.

I hope you do learn plenty from us here, but I've no doubt that we'll learn stuff from you as well. Everyone has experience and knowledge to share, no matter how small or insignificant they think that is.
