Default More time on my hands

Well BlogTalkRadio has put me to a part time contracting basis so I'll have more time on my hands. While the rest of the world is embracing community management, they're moving away from it. It wasn't said in so many words, but I think they're more interested in obtaining a corporate clientele and really aren't interested in the community aspect as much.

But don't cry for me, Argentina. I am relieved beyond words. I saw it coming and am happy to have more time this summer.

So does that mean you'll be sticking with them over the summer, but just in a part time basis? That's good news all around right? Very happy to hear you are happy. Shame they aren't into community management, but it is true that they could make some serious $ if they got some good corporate clients on board.

So things have changed for you again, eh Deb? No more BTR. They looking at hiring someone new? Or are they going to attempt to handle their own stuff now?

How goes finding and managing consulting clients?

No more BTR, thank goodness. I don't think they'll be hiring a community manager - they're realizing corporate clients and celebrity guests are the way to go and never really wanted to build up their community in the first place.

I have a few clients and it's all good. FWJ just had it's most profitable month (over $2K) ever so I'm determined to put more time into it and make it totally rock. Also getting back to Kommein which is neglected and some other blogs.

Would like a couple of more clients just to make me feel more secure but the Ngs aren't going on the dole any time soon, so it's all good.
