    Default kidney stone - OUCH!

Got hit by my first ever kidney stone Sunday night. No fun - spent 1AM-5AM in the ER and finally passed the stone today (Wednesday). Urologist visit tomorrow.

My first two SEVERE pain episodes came with no meds. Geez, I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. My last one came around midnight Monday night and I popped some Percocet to get some relief

    Fun times.

That's awful - so glad you passed it. I've heard those things are utter misery. Hope this is the last one you ever get. Did you know what it was when the pain started, or was it a mystery pain until you went to the hospital?

Friend of mine - her husband got one this past weekend - had the same situation. His was so bad they had to do some surgery with a laser?? to take care of it.

    he's home now resting comfortably..

Wishing you a good recovery. Remember how much my father suffered.

    Hope pain soon is over.

Thanks! I also have gruntbug.com which is a vague DA reference and I actually met him once and have 2 items he autographed for me. I'm seriously thinking about getting a "42" tattoo.

(very) slightly humorous story: a while back I put adsense on it cause I had big plans for it and all I ever got was poetry ads. I had to change all references to it to MyVogonPoetry instead of "My Vogon Poetry" to stop the poetry ads and get some relevant ads
