Please Help Newbie With Design Requirement For Caetgories

Hi. I am developing my blog and very happy with the modernpaper theme. I need to customize the look and layout of Categories. I will have several major categories and under each category will be a list of about 25 properties. I would like to reduce the font size and spacing so that the entire list is very concise and easy to see.

I would appreciate input on how to do this as I am relatively new to this.

Susan, this amounts to tweaking the theme's "stylesheet.css" file, or something similar in name. It's not particularly hard. What are you reducing the font size of? The category names?

Thank you for getting back to me. I forgot to check the forum and did not enable email notification so it has taken me 5 days to find this. I would like to reduce the size of the items in my sidebar by one setting. I find them to large and distracting. If you could provide me with guidance it would be greatly appreciated.
