Photoshop and Web2.0

One thing that is somehow interesting is the fact, that Web2.0 Design Style would not be so widespread without Photoshop.

How many tutorials I have found how to create Badges, Headlines etc. with Photoshop - amazing.

Also I found a site that offers: You send the PSD file, they create the CSS for you.

All my thanks go to Adobe. But what do users that cannot afford Photoshop? Besides using illegal copies you must stick to Gimp or something like that...

I found on a DVD GimpShop - a Photoshop alike version of Gimp. First you have to install Gimp, afterwards you run the GimpShop and then you have Gimp with the look&feel of Photoshop. Nice idea!

OSS is pretty cool!

This is one of the lot examples on how good Open Source Software can be! And not to think about the tons of megs a normal Photoshop installation "wastes"...
