I will be attending the Podcast and Portable media Expo.  If you would like to meet up with me at the event, arrangements can be made

I'm really looking forward to the expo and will be attending as many of the events as possible.

If you can't attend and have questions that you want answered, list them here in comments. I'll accumulate the answers and report back to the best of my ability.

If you would like these kept more private feel free to email me directly at brett _ bumeter at softduit dot com

Cheers!

Would like to hear how it

Would like to hear how it goes, do keep us posted

Will Do

I should state that I've dabbled in Podcasting but have not done anything that I would consider successful. They are offering several training sessions for beginners and experienced podcasters alike.

I did a lot of work with file formats about 6 years ago with text to speech and speech to text technologies, so I have some understanding of the technology, but I have been struggling with a few things so far.

I suspect my biggest disadvantage with podcasting is that 1. I don't have a Mac running garageband and 2. I'm cheap and don't want to pay too much for the software or equipment.

The more I learn the more it would seem that I'm going to have to invest at leat $2-500 to get off the ground as a podcaster.

I am going to the expo for other business reasons besides a need and desire to learn how to make the technology work, so the cost of the trip is justified on several different levels.
