The thing I like most about social networking media is the transparency of the business or product. From the other consumer reviews I can see if, for example I’m looking to buy a camera, it is worth the price. Other people who have bought it before can give me recommendations to buy it or not.

I agree, the brands really need to adopt social media to prosper.
However, they are very, very slow in this.
