We are a new city-blog network (Spotted by Locals). For expansion in Europe we're looking for a lot of locals that like to write about their city!
As a Spotter you do not have to be a professional journalist. English will probably not be your mother tongue. That’s OK! Most important of all is that you:
- Live in a large city in Europe (see below)
- Consider yourself a local (you don’t have to be a native);
- Love your city, and you would like to share your enthusiasm by writing about it;
- Have a bit of spare time (a couple of hours per month).

I love to write and it doesn't matter what it is. Currently, I am a sports writer and a real estate columist for Worldvoicenews.com, but as of today, the website has been shut down for unknown reasons (probably for not paying their reporters and numerous spam problems). Honestly, I wasn't writing for the money. I just love to write.
A little about my location. I currently live in the Los Angeles area and I would love to write about it all that the city has to offer. I guess my blogs would be written for those people who have never been here or people who only come here for the weekend to visit Disneyland and Hollywood Blvd. There is so much to see and visit here in Los Angeles.
I recently moved back to Los Angeles from northern California, so this city is practically new to me. I lived here back in 1978 through 1980 and so much has changed since the last time I lived here. I'd love to tell my tales of how I rediscovered this great city in a almost new prespective.

I am going to spend a two-month vacation in Frankfurt, Germany. I am leaving the Philippines on May 31, and staying in Frankfurt until July 31. It will be summer, and I will be more than happy to write and post photos about my day-to-day adventures while I'm there. I'm not going to be doing all touristy things because it's pricey. I really just want to explore the city and the neighboring cities in Germany if I get the chance.

Writing about a city in Europe! (Brussels!)
Dear Bart:
I am currently living in the US but grew up in Flanders, Belgium. I went to College in Brussels and both worked and lived there for several years. No city has ever left a mark as deep as Brussels did ... Its culture, its artists, its music, its people...from all over the world...never feeling like you have to leave as every reason you would leave for, you can find right there! I feel priviledged to have shared my most beautiful years with the people I met in Brussels. And even though I ended up a few steps away from "The City that never sleeps", I still dream of the days I spent walking the little cozy cobble stone streets seduced by the smell of Belgian waffles, "moules et frites" and "Manneke Pis" (the little man who never stops peeing).
