I am looking for some new blood to add to my writing team. If you have a passion for the business and technology side of the internet, are interested in broadband video, enjoy writing up news in a conversational and entertaining writing style and want to earn some extra money you might be just the person we're looking for.

Job Overview:

I need regular articles/blog posts on the Broadband Video Industry (IPTV, Internet Television, Video Downloads etc).  All articles should be between 100 to 400 words in length.

Position suitable for:

About the articles

• You would be creating articles on a daily basis.
• The articles must be up to date and relevant at the time of publishing. There is a strong emphasis on current events and breaking news.
• It is preferred that you have experience finding sources of breaking news using an RSS reader and email alerts. Training can be given.
• You will be creating 30 articles a month (1 a day). Each post should take you approx. 20-30 minutes to do.
• An example of the preferred writing style can be found at sites like downloadsquad.com and Engadget.com
• Type of content: You should be discussing developments in the broadband video industry such as what you might read on:

• All articles should be factually accurate, well-written and original.
• The writers should provide original and factually accurate materials suitable for a general entertainment audience utilizing a friendly and conversational tone. 
• All materials must be grammatically accurate and free of spelling and punctuation errors. 
• The writer is responsible for proofreading and editing the work prior to submission.
• You must be a native English Speaker

Publishing

• You will be required to publish an article to a wordpress blog. Experience is preferred but not essential; training can be given if needed.
• Some knowledge of HTML is preferred.

Payment Rate:

• $150 a month.
• This is for:
  
  - 30 x posts with 1 video and 100-200 words
  
  This works out at a rate of about $15 per hour if each post takes you 20 minutes.
• Payment at the end of each month – no upfront payments. (Payment schedule during trial period is negotiable).
• Bonuses available at our discretion for exceptional posts that impress our readers. Bonuses can be up to $50.

Trial Position

• You will start on a trial position and only be asked to produce 2 or 3 posts a week.
• The trial period can last up to 2 weeks
• I’m looking for a long-term business relationship and will likely have a lot more work for you if you want it.
