I seem to find it difficult to keep writers on board for a moderately long term basis. I'm looking to contract 2 writers for 2 separate blogs right now.
Budget travel writer -- I have a very reputable budget travel/backpacking blog. The writer should be really familiar with the travel industry and blogosphere - budget travel and international experience obviously a plus as well. I'm looking for actually helpful, informative blog posts here from this writer, not just wordy prose exploring ideals and concepts. Payment $7-9/post with potential for increase. 1 post/week right away.
Cancun Writer - Basically looking for travel tips, ideas, hotels, news, and customs regarding trips to Cancun. Mexico travel experience preferably, but most info can be found elsewhere online so not necessary. Once again, looking for informative posts that make good timeless content. Payment $6.50-8+/post DOEQ.
