TITLE:
Online Marketing Blogger (contract)
SUMMARY:
We are looking for a fun and enthusiastic freelance writer/journalist that can generate 5 articles a week for us (200-600 words each).
The subject matter is a blend of how-to's, tips, reviews, advice, explanations and news relavent to the online marketing industry. Specifically analytics, linking strategy (inbound and outbound), new social media sites, W3C news, local events, web 2.0, online advertising, ppc, lead generation, viral marketing ect.
Much of the content you will generate can be based on news, new marketing ideas and explaining old ones over the blogsphere.
This is really important, so we're repeating it: you must be able to commit to 5 articles per week. If you cannot, please do not respond.
COMPENSATION:
You will be an independent contractor and you will be compensated on a weekly basis via paypal.
REQUIRMENTS:
* Be able to commit to 5 articles per week (1 delivery per day Monday through Friday)
* Be enthusiastic and have a sense of humor!
* Be creative, critical, articulate and sometimes snarky in your English mother tongue.
* Have strong research/analysis skills. Detect and filter BS. Check facts well.
* Be familiar with writing for the web and for impatient online audiences.
* Have a strong knowledge of online marketing.
* Your work remotely.
WRITING TOPICS:
You should be comfortable talking about two or more of these topics to be considered:
*PPC Techniques
*SEO
*Ad Buying
*Social Networking & Marketing
ARTICLE REQUIREMENTS:
* A headline, a teaser for the front page and then the body of the article.
* Intelligent linking of post content to related subject matter and/or to related posts in the same blog
* Assign one primary and a few sub-categories to each post
* Tag all posts using automatic tagging system
* At least 1 image uploaded and pasted to the post.
* Articles must follow our editorial style guide
