Freelance Writer Opportunity

We're looking for a Desk Editor to maintain the News section of our web publication.

The Free Articulator is a publication for artists and the News Desk publishes both news items about the art & entertainment industry around the world, and the artists that Allforart Ltd and Free Articulator Ltd work with.

The successful applicant will have a good knowledge of and interest in news writing. Your job will include:

— Managing contributors and writers in your section
— Editing and preparing articles for publication
— Ensuring news is published promptly and frequently, with a minimum of one post per weekday
— Promoting articles through social media and word of mouth

News articles covering the wider art & entertainment industry should provide insight into the situation and thus the Desk Editor should not only be a solid news writer, but an inquisitive thinker.

The successful applicant will be:

— Proficient in writing and editing English
— Be willing to work with others via the Internet
— Knowledge of WordPress, HTML and image editing is an advantage

This job would require several hours per week, so it's an excellent choice for those looking for some extra work, work experience or to add to their portfolio.

The magazine is written by Creative Artists for Creative Artists, so you may find extra income opportunities through writing articles that fall under our other sections (optional).

Payment will be by monthly revenue share.

To apply, please contact Joel Falconer at editor@freearticulator.com with the following:

— Three samples of your writing
