I was born to travel. Since the early age of 13 I have been hopping on and off trains, buses and planes to see and experience new places.

Currently, as a 2nd Officer with a well-known cruise company, I have the privilege of traveling while working. Because I only work six months of the year, I spend the other six months traveling and indulging in my passion of writing.

In the past year I have traveled to around twenty countries. As I write this I am in South America, due to go home to Canada on the 22nd of March. Some of my most recent travels (past 6 months) include: Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Africa, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Turkey. Uruguay, England, Ireland, United Arab Emirates, Mexico, USA and Croatia.

I have been in most of these places for extended periods of time thus exploring more then one town of city.

I have only recently started freelancing through online sources and I have been very successful thus far. I have just started blogging weekly for www.cancunblog.org and my personal blogs (www.jukiefortravel.com and www.spotlighonnfld.com) are scheduled to launch mid-April. I have recently been published in a few travel magazines and I can send the articles as attachments upon request.

I may not have ten years of writing experience under my belt, but I do have great writing skills and extensive travel experience. I have been in countless airports, hotels and restaurants and I can provide very detailed reviews and advice- all from first hand experience.
