Green Options Media, the blog network dedicated to empowering sustainable choices, is looking for contract bloggers for its environmental politics blog, Red, Green and Blue. Launched in March, 2008, RG&B brings together voices from across the political and ideological spectrums to discuss and debate critical environmental issues and current events. We want to expand our team of liberal, conservative, and moderate writers dedicated to environmental protection and awareness, as we think these issues will play a significant role in the upcoming US elections.

We're most interested in recruiting green professionals, graduate/advanced undergraduate students and experienced bloggers with excellent writing skills, knowledge of their focus areas, and familiarity with blog marketing and promotion techniques. We provide a wealth of resources, and new writer mentoring, to help you reach a wide audience.

New writers will be expected to commit to 3-4 posts/week; posts should run 200-500 words. Payment is based on a flat per post rate, plus additional payment for pageviews.

If you're interested in writing for Red, Green and Blue, please email GO Media Senior Editor Jeff McIntire-Strasburg (jeff@greenoptions.com), and put "Writing for RG&B" in the subject line. Please introduce yourself, and your background/experience. Also attach or link to 2-3 writing samples that can help us get a sense of your voice and style.
