Freelance Writer Opportunity

We're looking for a Desk Editor to maintain the Business section of our web publication.

As we are a publication for artists, the Business section specifically covers the business of art & entertainment and provides practical and solid career advice for Creative Artists.

The successful applicant will have a good knowledge of and interest in the creative arts and business. Your job will include:

— Managing contributors and writers in your section
— Editing and preparing articles for publication
— Ensuring one article is published per day, by yourself or a contributor
— Promoting articles through social media and word of mouth

Each week, two of those articles must be Feature articles (600+ words with a practical entertainment business nature).

The successful applicant will be:

— Proficient in writing and editing English
— Be willing to work with others via the Internet
— Knowledge of WordPress, HTML and image editing is an advantage

This job would require several hours per week, so it's an excellent choice for those looking for some extra work, work experience or to add to their portfolio.

The magazine is written by Creative Artists for Creative Artists, so you may find extra income opportunities through writing articles that fall under our other sections (optional).

Payment will be by monthly revenue share.
