Green Options Media, the blog network dedicated to empowering sustainable choices, is looking for contract bloggers. Launched at the 2007 San Francisco Green Festival, Green Options Media now consists of fourteen blogs that cover topics of interest to both treehuggers and the "green curious."
While we're always recruiting bloggers to cover a wide range of topics, we have specific needs in the following areas:
- Green Small Business/Entrepreneurship (Ecopreneurist)
- US Local and Regional Perspectives (Ecolocalizer) -- we're especially interested in bloggers located in New Orleans, Portland (OR), Austin (TX), Atlanta, and DC
- Green Building (Green Building Elements)
- Environmental Politics (Red, Green, and Blue)
- Clean Technology (CleanTechnica)
We're most interested in recruiting green professionals, graduate/advanced undergraduate students and experienced bloggers with excellent writing skills, knowledge of their focus areas, and familiarity with blog marketing and promotion techniques.
New writers will be expected to commit to 3-4 posts/week; posts should run 200-500 words. Payment is based on pageviews.
