Hello!
I'm the admin and webmaster at the newly launched RareVideoGames.net
We are in the process of building a huge rare video game database and are launching forums and a marketplace for collectors to trade their games.
We need bloggers who are passionate about classic video games or who are collectors themselves to post news, retro gaming articles, links to interesting and rare eBay video game auctions, etc.
The site is completely not-for-profit, not even a single ad is on the site therefore this is a non-paid position! No experience is required but we do require a little background information about you including age and the types of games you play etc. and a sample article. If you do have experience, please provide links to previous work or current blogs.
Help build the newest gaming site for video game collectors by collectors!

Retro Gaming bloggers needed!
Electric Car Blog
Hello,
I am in need of a blogger or 2 depending on how many posts one can make.
Overall I am looking for 1 post a day, but if one can post 4 and one can post 3 times a week
that would be fine. Plus the blog would receive 2 points of view.
The URL is http://electricvehiclesite.com
Please offer me your price per post and some writing samples.
When offering writing samples please send me samples with your name on them
so I know that you wrote it. Do not send a URL and say this is where
I write sometimes :)
The writer should be able to find great news about electric cars and really get the
visitors interested. If able I am willing to pay a little extra for an effort to
discuss the topics with the visitors, but that is after I can see you are a good
blogger.
Thanks,
George

Seeking bloggers to write anecdotal and entertaining travel related posts about the world’s cities.
In 2008/9 The Bloggers Guide will be publishing a series of guide books on the world’s cities. The content of the books will be based on the best blog posts submitted to thebloggersguide.com. Anyone can create an account and submit content but whilst we are in beta testing we are seeking to recruit some paid bloggers, who ultimately we hope will become the editors of the guidebooks.
As we say in our description “Our bloggers give you the inside track - they don't do pages and pages of listings; rather, they make a few recommendations of what's hot and what's not. They would rather give give you a "feel" for the city, with some nuggets of inside information and pointers to start you on your way.”
Submissions:
The style of entry should be lighthearted and informative. We want to get away from the headline attractions and seek out the niche. For instance everyone knows that Big Ben is a tourist attraction in London but Thomas Carlyle’s perfectly preserved house is less well known about.
The most important section is the “Daily Life” – this section is about the day to day culture and character of a city. For the ideal post see “Swimming in Iceland” - http://www.thebloggersguide.com/reykavik/swimming-iceland - this works well because it shows the fabric of society in a lighthearted way.
More examples to get you thinking:

DishPronto seeks TV/movie bloggers
Tired of blogging for AdCents? We're launching an opportunity to blog about entertainment for an established retail site with a proven pay-for-performance model.
As one of the nation's largest DISH Network dealers, we bring our customers what they crave - info about the great television content available on DISH Network. Our blog, The Side Dish, covers that content in five categories:
- channel overviews (what's HBO all about?)
- movies (reviews of movies showing currently on a channel we carry)
- shows (reviews of TV shows showing currently on a channel we carry)
- sports (info about upcoming sporting events)
- the weekly scoop (a roundup of what's in the zeitgeist for a given week)
We've got several posts on the blog to set the tone, and are looking for a few bloggers to pick up where we left off. Bloggers receive a modest stipend plus over $100 per customer brought in via their posts. We're open to discussing other payment structures, other blog topics - we like discussing, so hit us with pretty much anything.
How to apply
Send relevant clips, resume, and statement of interest to blogjob, dishpronto.com. (Yeah, we chuckled too. Now you: try a short paragraph in our tone.)
Travel Writers Needed: Budget travel annnnd Cancun
I seem to find it difficult to keep writers on board for a moderately long term basis. I'm looking to contract 2 writers for 2 separate blogs right now.
Budget travel writer -- I have a very reputable budget travel/backpacking blog. The writer should be really familiar with the travel industry and blogosphere - budget travel and international experience obviously a plus as well. I'm looking for actually helpful, informative blog posts here from this writer, not just wordy prose exploring ideals and concepts. Payment $7-9/post with potential for increase. 1 post/week right away.
Cancun Writer - Basically looking for travel tips, ideas, hotels, news, and customs regarding trips to Cancun. Mexico travel experience preferably, but most info can be found elsewhere online so not necessary. Once again, looking for informative posts that make good timeless content. Payment $6.50-8+/post DOEQ.
If you're interested, post here and PLEASE email me at nicko dot 013 at gmail dot com. I will keep your information on file as well for future writing gigs in case the position is filled already. thanks!

Hiring Dad Bloggers
Dadosphere is currently hiring dad editors for a variety of topics of interest to dads. Official Dadosphere editors receive a 50-50 share of Adsense ad impressions on their articles, but they also get some great fringe benefits such as a free banner ad in the sitewide rotation and access to demo items to review.
Dad editors will get extra exposure for their profile and articles with a link and photo on the main topic page. They will also get extra promotion and links in their own bios on a Dadosphere Editors page still to be created. They also get 100 percent of commissions made via affiliate revenue through text links that are part of articles (such as reviews or lists of recommended products for dads).
The requirements for an editor are simply to post one article weekly on your topic. You can also post articles on other topics as well, so long as your one weekly article on your main topic is completed. A typical article is between 300 and 500 words, and provides tips and your unique dad experience and insight. It's as simple as that.
Click here to apply. There, you will find an application form, which includes the list of available Dad Editor positions
