Looking for a always present blog editor in your Firefox web browser?
A new version of the blog editor add-on for Firefox is available.
Formerly known as the performancing.com blog editor ScribeFire now resides on its own domain. In case you are not using this awesome blogging tool you should give ScribeFire a try. It is as simple as installing the ScribeFire blog editor as it is with any Firefox add-on.
ScribeFire
ScribeFire (previously Performancing for Firefox) is a full-featured blog editor that integrates with your browser and lets you easily post to your blog. You can drag and drop formatted text from pages you are browsing, take notes, and post to your blog.
Not to forget the right click options on any HTML page you visit.
Performancing for Firefox (December 20, 2005)
Performancing for Firefox is a full featured blog editor that sits right within Firefox
- Works with all major blog software
- Easy WYSIWYG Editing
- Trackback, Technorati and Del.icio.us support
Once installed, just hit F8 or click the little pencil icon at the bottom right of your browser window to bring up the blog editor and easily post to your Wordpress, MovableType or Blogger blogs.
ScribeFire release note
ScribeFire 1.4.4 has been released. It is compatible with Firefox 1.5 through 3.0b3.
This release includes a fix for the Blogger+Feedburner bug. Also fixed in this release is the issue wherein opening the "About ScribeFire" dialog from the status bar would make it impossible to return to the editor.
Releases from this point on are expected to occur more frequently, with more bugfixes and feature implementations. If you have a bug to report or a feature to request, create an issue at the ScribeFire Google Code project.

What I really like is the use of the ScribeFire Google Code project as an easy to use feature request and bug tracking system.
